Funny Spoony Tweet.

I'm only quite new to the world of Twitter, but I rather like following the likes of Spoony, Linkara and Nostalgia Chick. Today I added Yahtzee of Zero Puncutation to that list. Why? Thanks to this quote from the Spoony One.

"I had a dream @YahtzeeCroshaw and I battled to the death with Scottish claymores atop an erupting volcano. I now know how I am fated to die."

I will be there when this happens.

Son of a Bitch: The Insano Theory.

Good god I love Dr. Insano. He is awesome.

Whenever Insano and Linkara interact, it is brought up that they are arch enemies. Linkara has given himself an interesting role in that he is pretty much a superhero, having an array of weapons, some powers and and his own rogues gallery (Insano, Neautro, Mechakara, Lord Vice, Linksano, Phantasm, Pyramid Head). By what I understand, this was not initially intentional and originally started as somewhat of a series jokes because of his reviewing of comic books, a medium dominated by superheroes. This was pretty much cemented in the episode when he fought the Star Trek comic. Insano has repeatedly shown up against Linkara, officially granting him the role of arch villain.

But the weird thing is, he hasn't actually had a sort of 'Final Confrontation' with our hero. Last year, Insano's arch nemesis duties were mostly taken over by Mechakara, who was a pretty damn good villain. Insano eventually made a reappearance to finally kill Mechakara (though this appears to have been undone), and has appeared several times since, most memorably in the Warrior #2-3 review (Which blew my mind!). However, Linkara had the epic showdown with Mechakara, making him seem much more like the primary villain, which in this case was technically true.

Now we are getting Lord Vice, who is shaping up to be pretty cool, but Insano is again left in the dust. According to Linkara, this is because he felt bad about constantly asking Spoony to dress up all the time for it, so it's understandable, and we got the hilarious Linksano out of it.
In fact, Insano has only actually gotten one actual fight with Linkara that I'm aware of, the Adamantium Rage review, which was cool, but quick, and that's fine, they gave us a lot in a little. This brings up the fact that while Insano's lack of appearances as an actual arch enemy is causing me to complain, there is actually an interesting side to it.

It's no secret of how popular Insano is. His appearances are often massive CMoF's, and Spoony clearly enjoys the role, so whenever he DOES appear on Atop the Fourth Wall, it's always going to be great. This leads to what I'm going to call the Insano Theory, though I doubt theory is even the right term for it.
Insano is a villain labeled as the main villain of the series, but is overshadowed by the antagonist of the current storyline. We all remember Insano and it's unlikley we will forget him, even if the current villain is calling all the shots and Insano is nowhere to be seen. This could be considered a Sub-Trope of Ensemble Darkhorse, but it is nowhere near developed enough to actually even qaulify for a TV Tropes Page. So, if you could perhaps help me think of how it could work, then I would thank you.

And yes, I did add the Son of A Bitch title after writing most of this. I just felt I still needed to have SOME recurring segments actually recur.

Kickassia: That Guy With The Glasses Two Year Anniversary.

First off, I'd like to apologise for not having a picture of this years video, but instead I'll share with you the one from last year. Second of all, Robert, if you want to enjoy this event for all it's worth, do not read this, third of all...

OH MY GOD! THIS IS THE GREATEST MOVIE I'VE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE! There's this guy, called the Nostalgiama Critic, and he goes to this small town, except it's actuall a nation! And he goes up to the President and he's like, 'I'm going to invade you,' and he's like, 'I don't say anything here.' I conquered a small country once, I had pudding that day.
So then the Critic calls all his friends and tells them It's Time! But they don't know what he means, so they tell him the time! Except Angry Joe who has a different World Domination plan altogethor.

And then they all come togethor and this one guy goes to Spoony, 'Aren't you that Doctor guy?' And then he's like, 'NOOOOOO!' and then he's like, 'Yeah,' and he's like, 'NOOOOO!' and he's like 'Yeah,' and he's like, 'NOOOOOokay maybe.' Then the Nostalgima Critic comes out and tells them that he wants to rule the world...hurray! But Linkara isn't convinced, so the Nostalgima Critic accuses him of Nazism, 'Burn the Nazis!' And then he convinces them to join his cause by giving a rousing speech about someone else who had crazy dreams, The Nazis...wait, what? Okay, that part was weird.

So then they walk on down to the President's house and charge at him, and they're like, 'Chaaaaaaaaaaaaa,' and he's like, 'I'm being stoic' and they're like, 'Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa,' and he's like, 'I'm being stoic' and they're like, 'Aaaaaaaarrrrrrrr,' and he's like, 'I'm being stoic' and they're like, 'Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrgggggge!,' and he's like, 'I have a gun,' and they're like, 'Aaaaaaaaargh!' and run away.

So then, they go back to the hotel and and insult the Nostalgiama Critic for being dumb. But then Benzai has an idea, use Beary (his stuffed bear) as a kamikaze, but that's too obvious, But then Lee has an idea, Jump on his back and ride it to Victory, but that's too overused, But then Dr. Spiderma-Smith has an idea, Attack with a Legion of Spiders, Eeeeek! SPIDERS! But the Nostalgiama Critic tells him to go away, Hurray, no spiders!

But then Phelous has an idea, use weapons, but Critic dosn't like that idea. Then the Nostalgiama Critic has an idea, use weapons, he is a master of strategy! Then they suit up, Nostalgia Chick puts some goggles on, Linkara prepares his Magic Gun, Angry Joe poses with his guns, 8-Bit Mickey has pecks painted onto him, Handsome Tom shrugs, and Adam holds aloft his magic sword and screams, 'I I HAVE THE POWER!'...Wait, no, that's someone else...Red vs. Blue? Hurray!

And then The Critic poses in front of his window all awesomley and the video ends. Wait, that's not an ending! You need to end things for an ending, you have ended nothing! Except the video, but I want to know what happened to Epic Fail Guy. Will they ever find his phone number? Will ThatChickWithTheGoggles finish college? Will Janet and Brad ever hook up?'
